The hours are from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday. Receiving these food products on a monthly basis helps especially the senior residents who live on a fixed income and have increasing medical costs.
Catholic Charities Pre-Release and Aftercare Program
Program Overview
The Catholic Charities Pre-Release and Aftercare Program, part of the St. Boniface Parish Outreach, is a program designed to assist ex-offenders who are being released from correctional institutions in the state of Kentucky. This program is designed to assist the ex-offender's reintegration into society as a responsible and productive member. The program provides a structured environment 24 hours per day in communal living. Mentoring, medical, and counseling services are also available.
The emphasis of the program is pre-release planning and aftercare support by trained professionals. Each individual participant is required to adhere to a strict schedule regarding his assigned responsibilities by the Kentucky State Parole Board and by the staff of the program.
Pre-Release planning includes combining the participants needs and input with necessary reintegration counseling and guidance. The Aftercare portion of the program is implemented upon the inmates release from the correctional institution through individual case management and assistance obtaining gainful employment.

The program is designed to support the individual participant until he is ready to be independent. Participants are able to stay in the program for a maximum of one year after release. This allows the individual the chance to learn important skills and to settle into the community.
Board of Directors and Staff
The staff of the Catholic Charities Pre-Release and Aftercare program are qualified and trained professionals who donate their time and participate in mentoring individual participants.
